Welcome to MinistryNet: Bangkok 2007

We are so glad that you’ve taken time to travel to Thailand!
The purpose of this conference is to connect people to people and people to God using internet technology so that everyone everywhere knows someone who truly follows Jesus. Prayerfully we will see God do some amazing things this week and in the months and years to follow.
We decided on the name “MinistryNet” for a few reasons:
- Ministry is about both evangelism and discipleship
- Net is about both the internet and networking together
This week the topics we cover will be effective for not just evangelism but also discipleship. And although we can connect with each other using internet technologies, there is significant value in a gathering like this: our physical interaction with each other leads to deeper relationships.
Please continue to pray for this conference and for everyone attending. Pray that we will see God’s plan for us more clearly. Pray for a stronger relationship with Him and with others.
This conference is not about technology. It is about people. We are the people who use technology to help connect people to people and people to God.
