UPDATE: Praying for Visas

Tuesday, March 29th, 2005

We told you about a prayer request for some potential conference attendees that were having trouble getting their visas to come to Budapest.

Here is the latest update:

  • We originally had 11 needing visas
  • 3 received theirs
  • We still have 8 needing a visa to attend

Will you please pray for these 8 people? Please pray they will be able to get their visa and travel arrangements in time.

UPDATE: 1 visa came through! Please pray for the remaining 7.

UPDATE #2: 2 more visas came through! Please pray for the remaining 5.

UPDATE #3 (30 Mar): 1 more visa came through! Thanks for praying…please pray for the remaining 4!

UPDATE #4 (31 Mar): 1 more visa granted. 1 potential attendee stopped pursuing it since doing so would require travel from the Philippines to Indonesia (then Hungary) with no guarantees of getting past Indonesia.
** 2 remaining ** - These two individuals are now in transit from Mali and Ghana, hoping to receive visas in Paris and London respectively. Pray for these remaining two!!

UPDATE #5 (1 Apr): 1 more visa granted in Paris. 1 more to go!

UPDATE #6 (6 Apr): The last one arrived today!

Budapest Weather

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2005

April weather is unpredictable in Hungary as it is in other parts of the world. The average temperatures for April are:

  • High: 61° F/16° C
  • Low: 43° F/6° C

Since these are averages, it could be colder or warmer. You should be prepared for mild winter weather or warmer spring-like weather. Anything is possible, so be prepared.

Be sure to check the local weather conditions and forcast!
